Static Runtime CV
ECS vs EKS
A slim IDP can exist on either runtime, but the control surface changes.
Trade-offs between ECS and Kubernetes for an internal developer platform.
ECS reduces some operational burden but gives up Kubernetes-native extension points.
EKS offers richer platform primitives, stronger ecosystem support, and more direct alignment with the role description.
For this demo, Kubernetes wins because Argo CD, ingress composition, and runtime-specific internal APIs are easier to show cleanly.
